Subject Reading Guides and Materials
Each subject for the JD has a subject page on the JD website containing a full subject reading guide. Please note that subject reading guides are revised and updated each time they are taught and generally become available, both on the website and in hard-copy form, at least one week prior to commencement of the relevant semester. Students are welcome to refer to the current Reading Guides for a general indication of the range and type of materials that will be encountered in the subject.
Subject materials are also provided in hard copy form for each subject at least one week prior to the commencement of semester in which they are enrolled in the JD.
Required Texts
Although it is strongly recommended that students obtain their own copies of the required texts as indicated in the subject reading guides at the beginning of semester, copies of each of the required texts will be available at the Law Library (on reserve). Required texts are available for purchase from the University Bookshop. As a student at the University you may be eligible for student discounts where applicable, upon producing your student ID.
