Amendment to seminar 13

Please note that you are not required to read Director of Consumer Affairs Victoria v AAPT [2006] VCAT 1493 (which is referred to in the reading guide).  Instead, you will need to read Jetstar Airways Pty Ltd v Free [2008] VSC 539 (which is included in the materials accompanying the seminar 13 seminar notes).

REQUIRED MATERIAL:

  • Paterson, Robertson and Duke, Contract: Cases and Materials, Lawbook Co, 11th ed, 2009; and
  • Printed materials available from the Student Centre, which include notes and questions for each seminar and all prescribed material which is not in the casebook.

RECOMMENDED ADDITIONAL READING:

Paterson, Robertson and Duke, Principles of Contract Law, Lawbook Co, 3rd ed, 2009. This textbook explains the key concepts and discusses most of the cases we are studying in this subject. There are several copies on reserve in the library or you can purchase the casebook and textbook as a pack.
