The Donovan-Johnston Memorial Scholarship

For Melbourne JD students from rural and regional areas in their first year
 
The Donovan-Johnston Memorial Scholarship is awarded to up to two full-time JD students from rural or regional Australia based on the selection criteria for the JD degree (including academic results of all tertiary study previously undertaken, results on the LSAT and personal statement) and demonstrated financial need.  The scholarship, valued at $5,000 per annum for the duration of the degree (subject to satisfactory performance) will be awarded to a student or students commencing the Melbourne JD in Semester 1, 2010.

To be eligible, students’ permanent place of residence, as registered with the University at the time of applying for admission to the Melbourne JD, must be 80 kilometres or more from the Melbourne General Post Office.
